We were invited by Cross in Devizes to create additional working space on a mezzanine floor to include Production meeting rooms, and managers offices.

The mezzanine is situated in a noisy part of the factory, so our design had to ensure it addressed the issue of continuous machine noise.

This was achieved using Armstrong ‘Ultima + db’ ceiling tiles, Soundbloc plasterboard for the walls, and additional insulation within the partition cavity. The carpet tiles selected had an enhanced level of sound absorption qualities. Using this combination of sound absorbing materials meant a comfortable and creative workspace could be created in a noisy environment.
